Pete retired at the end of 1999 selling Red Line to his lead mechanic, Marc Bixen.

Marc successfully operated Red Line Service in Santa Monica through September of 2005. Due to Real Estate issues he was forced to temporarily close the shop until Red Line re-opened in Porsche legend Carl Thompson’s
facility in Long Beach California.

During this time Marc was able to gain valuable experience working on current as well as vintage Porsche’s including Porsche 917, 906, 908, RSR’s and others.

Wanting to better serve old and new customers, Marc relocated the shop back to West Los Angeles in October of 2012.

Red Line Service is now located just south of the 10 freeway at Robertson. We have a new larger facility to better support our new and returning customers.
